The Ingatherings take place on the first weekend of October.

Parish projects, properly packed and labeled, may be brought to the Receiving Centers listed below on October 2 and 3, 2010 after which they will be sent by railway to New Windsor, Maryland, for shipment overseas.

For the 2008 fall ingathering these dates and centers apply:

  • Bring donations to Receiving Centers:

  • Saturday Oct. 2 9:00 am —12:00 noon

  • Sunday Oct. 3 12:00 noon —3:00 pm

In packing your goods for shipment, sort and pack in separate boxes, labeling the contents clearly on the outside of the box. Computer-generated labels are a big help.
Note that completed *health kits must be in boxes labeled:

Note: Clothing is no longer collected, and no toothpaste is included in Healthkits.

Please do not allow each box’s weight to exceed 40 pounds; use strong cartons secured with packing tape.

Important: It is absolutely necessary that you bring someone with you to help carry boxes when unloading your car and reloading onto the trailer if you are unable to do it yourself.
