Phlint Web Media is a part of Phlint, Incorporated, registered in Glen Ellyn, Dupage County, Illinois. It can be noted that Phlint, Incorporated is doing business as (dba) Phlint Web Media. The purpose of the information in this Terms of Service (“TERMS”) is intended to describe how we service our clients and use collected information. We will make every effort to follow the procedures described in the Terms of Service. We may require information to comply with your requests. The Terms of Service will explain the general process we go through when working with a client for the different web services that we offer. By using the Phlint Web Media services provided by Phlint, Inc. you are agreeing to these Terms of Service. Please note that we may change the Terms of Service at any time without notice. Web Design
The web design services that we offer are unique and created by our graphic designers and web programmers. Once you have agreed to the general layout and or design and the sale has been completed, there will be a charge for further modifications.
Clients that correctly and fully complete their web profile will see estimated turnaround times. The client is responsible for all delays that are related to an incomplete web profile.
Web Development
Online programs that may include a database are created by our web developers unless otherwise noted. We will work with the client to create the script desired by the client before the project is finalized. There may be an additional charge for third party scripts to be installed on the server.
Web Hosting
The web hosting offered by Phlint Web Media is monitored by our staff at all times. If you wish to have access to the external hosting services, such as file transfer protocol, or direct server access such as SSH, please contact us.
If you would like to upload files to the web hosting servers, you must agree to the following terms:
-No illegal files or viruses are allowed on the server.
-No content of sexual explicit material is allowed on the servers.
-No politically or racially offensive material is allowed on the server.
-No copyrighted material that you do not have permission to use is allowed on the servers.
You are responsible for the files that you place on the server if granted permission to do so whether uploaded through the file transfer protocol, an external source, or third party software/script that has been installed on the server.
The servers are monitored 24/7/365 and any material that does not follow the terms of service found will result in a temporarily or permanent suspended account until further investigation.
Graphic Design
The graphics designed by our team are unique. We will work with you to help you get the look you are searching for. We are not responsible for similarities between logos or other designs upon customer’s recommendations or requests.
Content Provided For Web Site
You are responsible for the content you provide for us to place on your web site. Please be sure it follows the appropriate restrictions listed on this Terms of Service and does not infringe on copyright laws or regulations. If there happens to be a dispute, the account will be suspended until further investigation.
Domain Name Registration
Phlint Web Media offers domain registration from third parties that are affiliated with the ICANN registry department. There is no guarantee that your domain will be available, or that it will be available for a certain length or period of time.
If you have your own domain name then we will do no more than supply you with the Domain Name Servers required to connect the server to the domain name. If this happens to be the case you are then responsible for all DNS and domain name issues.
Collected Information
Phlint Web Media may collect information from you to help us give you the best service possible. We will not give this information to any third parties. The www.PHLINT.com website may collect information from your computer including COOKIES and your IP address.
